Yamaha TZ 750

The Yamaha TZ750, introduced in 1974, was a purpose-built customer race bike using a 747cc liquid-cooled two-stroke inline four. Producing over 120 bhp in early form, it delivered explosive power with minimal weight.

A simple tubular frame and basic suspension struggled to match the engine’s output, making it notoriously demanding to ride.

Used in both Grand Prix and UK short-circuit racing, it became iconic for its performance and raw, uncompromising character.
