Capturing the beauty and engineering of classic and racing bikes
About Me

I grew up surrounded by racing motorcycles. One of my first memories is helping my brother get his racing bike ready and running it with him. That experience taught me about the pace and discipline the sport demands.
That experience has always stayed with me.
As a teenager, I picked up my first camera to capture what I already knew so well. Later, I started photographing sports for a local newspaper while working full-time in sheet metal and taking photography classes at night.
That combination of engineering and photography still shapes the way I work. I know how a motorcycle is built and where the key details are, and that guides how I take my photos.
With press accreditation, I covered motorsport events across the UK, from bike racing to Formula One. Spending time in paddocks and pit lanes taught me to approach both the machines and the people with respect and practicality.
By the mid-1990s, I was writing for national classic motorcycle magazines like Classic Bike, Classic Motorcycle Mechanics, and The Classic Motorcycle. I produced road tests, features, and studio photography for titles such as Classic Racer.
My goal is simple: to photograph motorcycles clearly and accurately, paying close attention to their form, details, and condition, without adding unnecessary styling.
I work with collectors, restorers, racers, and editors who appreciate honest representation.
These machines are part of a larger history, and my aim is to document them properly.
