RTM 350
The RTM 350 is a rare Italian racing motorcycle associated with the specialist engineering tradition of post-war European competition. To give an accurate account, its exact engine configuration, power output and racing history need to be established, as detailed specifications for these uncommon machines are limited.
The RTM 350 was an Italian Grand Prix racer developed by Franco Ringhini and Roberto Torrani around a highly unusual 350cc square-four, two-stroke engine with rotary-disc induction. Producing approximately 90 bhp at 14,000 rpm, it used a specialist Nico Bakker chassis. Ridden by Carlo Perugini, it finished fourth on its Grand Prix debut in 1980 but was hampered by persistent ignition problems.
