The Suzuki TR500 Monocoque was an early-1970s 500cc Grand Prix machine, using a square-four two-stroke producing around 90 bhp.
Its distinctive feature was the aluminium monocoque chassis, replacing the traditional frame to increase rigidity and reduce weight.
Innovative but difficult to set up, it saw limited success, though it marked an important step in chassis development and racing design experimentation.
